Commercial Metal Stud Framing

Commercial Metal Stud Framing

>>> BlackFriday Commercial Metal Stud Framing

I am a foreman for a Drywall/Metal framing company. I bought this book to pick up a few tips here and there. This book was a great help to me. It explains everything in detail. Again the detail in this book is excellent. I would recommend this book to anyone getting started in metal framing and to anyone looking to pick up some tips.

I just started framing with steel. I work on residential projects and am starting to use 20 guage steel for finished basements. I originally used snips then a jig saw with bimetal blade. I never got into the abrasive chop saw due to sparks and noise. In many cases it is way to dramatic of a way to cut steel when you are working in someones basement. I then came across this shear. I don't think it could be any better. Cuts effortlessly cleanly and totally silent. You do have to have the stud lined up perfectly to fit through the shear guide but it just takes one or two cuts to get the hang of it. I recomend this product with no hestitation hard to think there is a better faster cleaner and more efficient way to gut 20 or 25 guage steel.
